How they tapped on Singapore Enterprise Grant – EDG for their bakery central kitchen / manufacturing.
- Baker’s Oven Patisseries (BOP) invested in a fully automated production line where everything from the production of pastries to the packaging of varies products is automated.
- BOP also used EDG to implemented a POS System across its 6 retail stores that gave the management an operation a good understand of the various data.
End Results:
Upon the implementation of these technologies upgrade, BOP reduced almost 50% of manpower that was previously required on the production floor. It also managed to reduce the amount of wastage that was generated during production activities by 2% and doubled its production capacity, Quality and consistency feedback also increase after a post project survey conducted.
